Mobile604 Electronics Inc. – JOB OPENING Position: Sales / Operational Assistant Position Type: Permanent Full/Part Time Job Location: Burnaby, B.C. Starting Salary: $9 to $11/hr depending on experience Posted Date: January 6th, 2009 Job Summary: In this role you will provide operational support on day-to-day operations. Your administrative responsibilities will range from answering phone calls, taking orders, shipping out products, coordinating product pick-up arrangements, updating the website and replying e-mail inquiries. Other responsibilities include the development and implementation of marketing plans. As a start up company, there is growth potential in this position for a proactive and enthusiastic individual. Responsibilities: • Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phone calls, taking orders, shipping out products, coordinating product pick-up arrangements, updating the website and reply e-mail inquiries • Assist in the development and implementation of marketing and business plan • Monitor market price changes, market trends; research advertising channels and potential promotional events • Work with management and make recommendations to the website to enhance the usability and functions/features that impact consumer purchase behaviour • Other duties as required Required Skills/Experience: • “Self starter” with the ability to multitask and to work under minimal supervision • Ability to thrive in a fast paced and multitask work environment • Excellent written, analytical and oral communication skills • Excellent customer service skills • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) • Knowledge of website development (i.e. HTML) is an asset • Knowledge of GSM cell phones is an asset • Fluency in a second language is an asset About the Company: Mobile604.com is a Canadian based online retailer of unlocked GSM mobile cell phones located in Vancouver BC.
